澳大利亚男子网购放射性材料，庭审后获释

一名24岁的澳大利亚男子因订购铀和钚到其父母的公寓，在法院被允许以两年良好行为保证金的方式获释。

在通过互联网订购各种放射性样品，试图收集整个元素周期表后，Emmanuel Lidden 承认了两项指控：将核材料运入澳大利亚和未经许可拥有核材料。

虽然他的行为是犯罪行为，但法官认为 Lidden 存在精神健康问题，并且没有表现出恶意意图。他是澳大利亚第一位因违反 1987 年核不扩散法案，在没有适当许可的情况下进口和拥有核材料而被判刑的人。

这些材料的交付——包括一定数量的钚、贫铀、镥、钍和镭——导致了 2023 年 8 月的一起重大危险品事件。由于澳大利亚边防部队官员、消防员、警察和护理人员的调查，Lidden 居住的整条街道被封闭，房屋被疏散。
